Guitarist /Vocals
Joe is a life long Jersey Shore resident, who started playing guitar at nine years old, studying with Jon Herington (Steely Dan) and jazz great, Tal Farlow. He started teaching guitar at Blue Note Music (Long Branch, Belmar, and Point Pleasant Beach) at the age of sixteen, opened his own retail music store (The Guitar Place, Bradley Beach) right out of high school at eighteen, and then opened his first recording studio (Wild Sound Studios) at twenty-one.
Joe’s love for classic rock is apparent and it certainly shows in his playing and makes him a perfect fit as the lead guitarist in Pure McCartney.
Joe has also worked besides some of the most respected recording engineers of all time, Andy Johns (Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones) and Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix, Kiss), to name just a few, and has engineered at arguably the greatest recording studio in the world, Abbey Road in London, England.
As the owner and operator of Shorefire Recording Studios since 1995, Joe brings a very diverse skill set to the day to day operations at the studio. He is not only a recording engineer, but is also a musician himself, who has been on both sides of the glass as a songwriter and as a session guitarist.
Here is a partial list of clients that Joe has worked with or recorded at Shorefire Recording Studios.
Accept, Blondie, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Darlene Love, Dean DeLeo (STP), Gaslight Anthem, Monster Magnet, Nektar, Overkill, Skid Row, Sly Stone, Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes, Tyketto, Zakk Wylde

John Visconi Multi-instrumentalist (Guitar, Sax, Keyboard, Trumpet, Latin Percussion, Timpani & Vocals)
John's passion for music performance began playing drums & trumpet in the NJ public school system. After being selected for All Shore Band at 12 years old, Joseph Clouser, the conductor, was impressed with his timpani playing & asked John to join the Garden State Philharmonic Orchestra as principal timpanist. This lead to many years of classical performances with the GSPO & members of the New York Philharmanonic & Philadelphia Orchestras.
John studied percussion as a music major at Trenton State College & started playing Latin percussion uner the tutelage of Tony DiNicola (drummer for Harry James & Kenny Davern), as well as other other instruments as part of the curriculum. In order to play more contemporary music, John also formed the band "Harper" which toured the US & Canada, first as the band for "The Flamingos" (2001 inductees in the R&R Hall of Fame) during the mid '70s & subsequently as a heading act. Harper also worked with Mickey Gilley, The Trammps & other notable acts of the 1970s. After touring for a several years, Harper returned to NJ & played up & down the Jersey Shore during the late 70s. Since then John has performed with the Garden State Philharmonic Orchestra, Georgian Court College Wind Ensemble, Ocean Count College Concert Band, New Jersey Chamber Singers, Ocean County College Choir, Imperial Music Center Concert Band, as well as in several contemporary cover bands.
John currently performs with "The Next Generation of Soul" (Latin Percussion, Guitar & Vocals), "Contraband" & "Pure McCartney" (Guitar, Keyboards, Sax and Vocals).
